That ain't A.A.

Evidently, I don't have to worry about quitting A.A. after all. The A.A. I've been doing is not the same A.A. y'all have been doing all along. I'm fine with that. I'd be fine just walking away from the A.A. I have been doing as well.

Having a hard time leaving my group

I've been politely asked to come back to a meeting. They told me that I'll continue to be asked in the future. I'm still planning my exit strategy.

Thinking of leaving my A.A. group

Yeah... I had a recent falling out with the group guru.

I'm sick of his shit obviously and just don't think we have anything more to offer each other.

I'm not in a position to stay there and sort of free lance so to speak... which is what I desire to do now.

I don't feel like I need to belong to any group.

I feel like I can do with or without A.A. to be honest.

I certainly don't feel fear nor regret in backing off.

I think there are some sick fucks in A.A. doing weird things to themselves. I don't think one A.A.er can harm another too much.

You have to sign up for letting another person screw you over.

I just don't buy into the victim/liberal bullshit.

For this reason, I could never be a good anti/ex A.A.er.

Inventory

Just finished a 4th step and 5th stepped it. Took me about 5 weeks to write it and 5th step it. Now doing 8 and 9 as I continue on with 10 11 and 12.

The lessening of the stigma of being an alcoholic?

Bullshit. . . For any alcoholic, drinking booze is unacceptable behavior.
