  1. Looks like you guys got some snow down there. We ended up with about 4-6 inches at the most. I just hope it melts before it starts to drift. Drifting here will shut us down quicker than anything else. Hope all of yo have a great Christmas.

  2. Merry Christmas to all here, and their families!
    McGow: I see you got some snow for the holidays; here in Western NY we have had only about 3" so far this "winter" (last year about 30" to the same date). Your photos (good as usual) made me pause for a few minutes, wondering what was different about them, until I realized that you folks there in CO normally get a dryer snowfall then we do - makes it easier to shovel, but not so good for making snowballs!

  3. No snowballs. No snowmen either. On a good note we don't have to chisel six inches of ice off our windshields.
    Patrick. I went over "There" and picked up this little Gem I thought you would get a kick out of.
    "There are different ways to work the aa program. Some work it rule based while others work it therapy based. It sounds like your current sponsor is rule based and that isn't exactly meeting your needs. Maybe you could look for a therapy based sponsor"

    I couldn't help myself. I had to post it here. Maybe that's why we have God help us. With quotes like this, all I can say is just that. God help us.

  4. Merry Xmas guys !!!

    @Cuda :

    "Some work it rule based while others work it therapy based."

    LOL !!!!

    " And acceptance is the answer to all my problems today. When I am disturbed, it is because I find some person, place, thing or situation -- some fact of my life -- unacceptable to me, and I can find no serenity until I accept that person, place, thing or situation as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment. "

    FWIW, I'm not cutting and pasting that to preach at you. I did it to stop my own train of thoughts. I had a nice long rant going.

    I believe the anti-AA's call it a 'thought stopping cliche'.

    It's Chritsmas day. God bless them all.
    (Hell, some of them are gonna need it....)

  8. My parents' home. We don't get as much snow... and the region doesn't usually get near enough snow.
