Alcohol Recovery Blog... Well, not so much any more. I've lost all of my support over the last several years obviously. Nobody wants to go head to head with the Anti/XAers anymore. Seems that most have jumped off of the A.A. "bandwagon" all together. I've lost my resolve as well. Still sober 20+ years though. So there is that.
Talk about drinking days. I was so gripped by the disease and so ignorant about my dilemma. Viet Nam vets self-treated for their PTSD with alcohol and drugs and many of them OD'd or commited suicide. By the grace of HP I was chosen to survive and find AA to gain recovery.
I commissioned Uncle Meat in 1969 and a fella in Flint, MI built the reproduction shown in the photo. The original truck looked just like this bit it had lots of dirt on it all the time from daily convoys.
Thanks Dog.

Minor detail.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your service Paw. It is good to know you, albeit in cyberspace.
