.I think it's a great idea. Let those folks do what they need to do. If they cannot nor will not surrender to a God of their understanding, then don't.
.They can take on all the atheists and freethinkers they want and call it A.A. if they want. But folks who want the Lord's Prayer in their group can have that too. All you have to do is decide what's right for you.
My A.A. mentor warns me to watch out for people who try to take God out of A.A.
ReplyDeleteI believe that there's a fine line between that and folks who just don't want somebody else's conception crammed down their throat.
